Video for Camp Boggy Creek

Soundwave is very proud to announce a new relationship we have made with Camp Boggy Creek, a local non-profit organization featured at the World Sailfish Competition.  The organizers for the event asked us to put together a PowerPoint presentation to show at their Charity Auction, held one of the nights of the competition.  They wanted us to use pictures of the campers, as well as some of their quotes about the camp.  When we discovered a little more about Camp Boggy Creek, the entire Soundwave team wanted to do something a little better than just a PowerPoint display.  So we  put our new video editing division into full gear.

Soundwave got a chance to meet some of the Camp Boggy Creek leadership and every one of us were touched by the stories of these amazing children.  We whole-heartedly recommend you learn more about Camp Boggy Creek and support their mission to provide a summer camp experience to seriously ill children throughout Florida.  It’s a worthwhile cause that will change a young child’s life!

Press Conference – Goya Foods

Goya Foods is celebrating their 75th anniversary and wanted to hold a press conference to announce some of their plans for commemorating this achievement!  They rented some space in the parking lot of the Meadowlands Sports Complex in Rutherford, NJ.

Soundwave was asked to come and install some needed stage and press risers to facilitate the press conference.

As a visual reminder, they pulled 18 wheeler trailers up to surround the tent where the press conference was being held.

One of the best parts of this trip was to be able to see the New York City skyline just over the river from the sports complex.

Festival of Speed Show

Mid-week last week we received a phone call from an event coordinator who was holding a really cool luxury car/boat/lifestyle show.  They had MILLIONS of dollars worth of cars, SUV’s, motorcycles, tour buses, and even airplanes on hand to look at, sit in, and enjoy.  It’s really an amazing collection of vehicles.  But the event coordinator was in a panic because the company they had contracted with did not bring enough equipment for the 2 airplanes they would be showcasing. The event coordinator then made some phone calls with other companies he worked with previously, but they could not deliver the needed equipment…

And then he called Soundwave Productions.

Not only did we have the gear he needed, we were willing, even on VERY short notice, to come set it up for him.  When it really mattered, Soundwave Productions was there.  And our client was blown away by not only our service, but our availability and our flexibility.  Instead of calling all the others…next time, he will call us first.

Famous Faces – Jennifer Carroll

The first African-American and the first woman elected to the position of Lieutenant-Governor of the State of Florida.  Ms. Carroll assumed the office on January 4, 2011, and we were there.  It was a tremendous honor to work with Jennifer Carroll during her campaign with Rick Scott and we are very proud to have her as our Lieutenant-Governor!
